Whistl to recruit 140 people in Devon
Whistl, the UK's leading logistics specialists in e-fulfilment, contact centres, mail and parcels, has announced that it is embarking on a recruitment campaign for its Devon-based operations. The company is looking to recruit over 140 people to a variety of seasonal roles within its fulfilment and contact centre facilities in Wrangaton, Plymouth and Paignton.
Known locally as Clientbase, the 300 strong teams manage inbound contact centre operations, warehousing, fulfilment and business support functions across a portfolio of more than 50 clients. Fulfilment and warehouse operations continue to see huge growth as shopping habits migrate from the high street to home delivery
The range of roles available cover customer service, picking, packing, stock control and goods in, plus support staff. Each year this seasonal surge in recruitment creates a pathway for many colleagues to join the business on a permanent basis. The company has aims to promote from within and has seen the majority of senior positions filled from within the existing team.
